With an event this large, a directory for visitors is a must-have. For 2019’s celebration, the Shenandoah Valley Arts Center wanted to approach its usual directory a bit differently, creating a keepsake booklet distributed to each attendant. We decided to shine a light on some of our favorite pieces on display that season, as well as the vibrant murals recently introduced to the downtown skyline as part of a recent wave of revitalization. The result was boldly colored and rich in visual texture, befitting a contemporary take on a cherished institution.
